I was a little bummed to see Apple's announcement of the new 30GB and 60GB iPod because my new iPod Nano arrived on Monday! While the Nano is cool, I was a bit disappointed with the capacity. Mine only loaded 678 songs. I guess I've got too many long songs in my music library. That must mean I need one of the new iPods to add to my collection.
The new iPods look great. However, I'm not sure one of the big benefits being touted, the ability to watch Desperate Housewives and Lost (the ABC shows that will be available to buy through the iTunes store) the day after the shows appear on television, is all that big.
The more interesting question is whether the new iPods will fuel vlogs the same way that the older iPods helped to enable the podcast revolution. Stay tuned. I'm sure there's more paradigm shifting to come from the folks at Apple.
