Six Months In: A Big V&S Thank You

It's a bit hard to believe that we founded Victors & Spoils almost six months ago. Thus far, it’s been a really amazing journey. I wanted to take a quick minute to thank everyone that’s been involved in making the agency what we are today.

Thank you to our amazing internal team Caitlin Sullivan, Claudia Batten, Chris Marks, Dana Vallely, David Blaser, Evan Fry, Noah Clark, Josh Patterick, Jesse Forest, Kevin Dolan, Sarah Boyd and Scott Beck; to our incredible creative department, all 750 of them, from all over the world; to our clients Dish Network, General Mills, Virgin, and Brown-Forman; to our confidential clients in financial services, quick service restaurants and consumer packaged goods; to the other platforms we’ve used, including 99designs, Crowdspring and Genius Rocket; and to the many thought leaders like Ben Malbon, Bud Cadell, James Sherritt, Gareth Kaye, Faris Yacob, Edward Boches, Jon Bond, Ty Montague, Alex Bogusky, Len Kendall, Mat Ranauro, Shaun Abramson, Winston Binch and Mike Samson who’ve offered input and guidance. It feels like there’s a wonderful groundswell around the move towards the world of abundance.

Thus far, we've had the opportunity to work on everything from TV and radio to brand strategy, from digital to social media, and from product design to service design to graphic design. We've learned a great deal so far about how to work in the new world of abundance and the importance of developing the right crowd strategy – with dozens of crowd platforms out there, it's critical to choose the right crowd to engage with. We’ve also learned that curation and creative direction is more critical than ever.

I could go on but the main purpose of this post is to thank everyone in the V&S family. So, thank you for a great first six months. We look forward to continuing to change the paradigm of marketing, advertising and product design together, with you.
